[ ]

As the long month of reflection moves toward refreshed energies with this [ ], it is also important to understand how to best be proactive during this spiritual cycle. The [ ], existing between the solar days of [ ] and [ ], will be well-spent regrounding energies and expelling curses from the body. For many, this means healing movements that have toxified the mind and polluted the spirit.

During this [ ], ending [ ], the ancestors and spirits may have been more vocal with their attempts to redirect our spiritual paths, to realign the momentum we’ve already established with their guidance, or to retreat from the stress clouding our spirits. All of this is with purpose of cleansing pollution. Remember, it’s still not too late to reflect on progress we’ve made and to check in with ourselves for next steps. The [ ] is also a good month for reflection, but if you feel too rushed, then these nights and the lunar months moving forward are still good to reflect as you feel the land’s breath settling and allow the busy movements of the spirits living close to us to guide this reflection.

no ghost day’s influence

On this ‘no ghost day’ in particular, [ ], the beginning of [ ] may also allow for a more aggressive spiritual cleansing, which will lead wonderfully into [ ] with [ ] being a good evening for establishing mindsets and [ ] being auspicious for blessings from the ancestors who are still keeping watch.

It’s also an opportune time to discuss how these new beginnings will unfurl. On no ghost days, the ancestors and spirits step elsewhere to allow the auratic mind to flourish more bravely – maybe without accostment, but mostly with the knowledge that you basically have the house to yourself.

  1. Turn … ‘I’ll buy something quick to eat’ … into … ‘I know a quick recipe that is [ ] nutritious to cook at home.’

2. Turn … ‘My body feels like crying’ … into … ‘I will work through this tension with softness and guide my body to understand [ ].’

3. Turn … ‘I’m not having as much fun being online’ … into … ‘I am going to try [ ] something different for better day-to-day fulfillment.’

personal practice

Because I have spent my [ ] trying to figure out how best to understand how the ancestors have been redirecting energies, I’ll be assisting spiritual energies by realigning pathways and assessing the cocoon we’ve been growing within for some time.

I understand now that the squash bugs in the garden munching away on the pumpkins is an example that we should be more proactive with our realignment. Because of this, for [ ] as our spirit breathes into renewal and the beginnings of [ ], we should seek to better cultivate a connection along the forest pathway by the mountain we were born from. The ancestors have been kind enough to clear a way through so we don’t wander off the known path.

Words of advice for this fresh cycle as the nights grow colder and the dew beneath the leaves signals a shift for the land to prepare for [ ], we should listen more deeply to the ancestors and spirits who guide us and to remember who have helped us along the way – they are all that is and more.

as [ ] seeps into our bones – [ ]

after the frigid morning dew nibbles my pores, the cold humidity signals the beginnings of [ ]. we may feel this shift in the wee hours of the morning, right before the mass of crickets hide away in brush, when the birds find their first worms of the day, or when the rush of cars along the road ahead signals a shift that things in town are waking up.

mornings are best spent with calmness, especially during this most recent [ ] new moon when the ancestors and spirits have since recovered from their day of watching. with that calmness as the inklings of the moon beam light onto the land, now is also a good time to plant another crop’s worth to give them plenty of room for growth before [ ].

by planting another batch, may we recover from the pitfalls that may have befallen upon us, may we instill good medicine into [ ] to prepare our bodies for the colder months ahead, and may we continue to seek peace and well-being with every seed sowed into the land, growing to nourish us or the spirits who exist below for another opportunity.

bed cleansing – [ ]

i have since learned that one of my most preferred methods of renewing the garden to prepare for the next batch of sowing is to set ablaze all the vegetation ready to return to the land. i’m hoping that the radish seeds burrowed themselves into the ashen soil for one more harvest of the season. they like colder weather, so with the days feeling less hot, they will grow nicely for the crickets, the lady garden spider, and the snails – there will still be plenty for family and friends.
